I was recently writing a blog post called “The Reinvention of Education,” and I noticed I kept coming back to this one sentence and changing it, tweaking it, wondering about it. Trying to get it to say what I wanted. I’m not sure I’ve succeeded yet, but I thought it was a good example of how good writing isn’t written, but it’s rewritten. Here is a list of the revisions I made. More than a dozen over the course of a half a day.
