St. Patrick

Here is a prayer I read in church tonight, written by St. Patrick in Ireland in the fifth century. I want it to be my prayer today.

Christ be with me, Christ within me,

Christ behind me, Christ before me,

Christ beside me, Christ to win me,

Christ to comfort and restore me,

Christ beneath me, Christ above me,

Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,

Christ in hearts of all that love me,

Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

St. Patrick, c. 461

I LOVE YOU

I Love You

Inspired by I Love You: A Rebus Poem by Jean Marzollo

Every trekker loves a hike

Every kid loves a bike

Every ham loves a mic

And I love you!

Every duck loves a tub

Every roast loves a rub

Every perch loves a grub

And I love you!

Every glove loves a ball

Every friend loves a call

Every farmer loves the fall

And I love you!
